Finally, I am back. I know I don't have too many followers, but I would like to apologize for my lack of posts. Life has gotten difficult lately, which has led to the decrease in blog posts. But anyway, I am back! And I will be keeping up with posts now!
Caramel Grapes
Alicia and I made these absolutely delicious treats on Sunday night. They are not exactly the healthiest of treats, but they were very delicious!
They were so simple to make! All you need are grapes (I chose green because they were sour!), 15 caramel squares and cream. What you need to do is melt the caramel squares in a pan on low heat. You want to add the cream to prevent the caramel from hardening. Make sure to stir the caramel thoroughly so that it is all melted. Once the caramel is melted, you want to putt the grapes on individual toothpicks, and dip the grapes into the melted caramel. We crushed up peanuts and dipped the grapes into the crushed peanuts after the caramel was on. Of course, this step is optional. I was thinking next time that I make these that I should dip them in crushed smarties or something!
Once you've finished dipping the grapes into the caramel and other delicious things, you want to put them on a lined plate and let the caramel harden for about ten minutes. These are seriously addicting!!
For dinner on Sunday I found a recipe for Portobello Mushroom Pizzas on Bodyrock. They were so good. I've been eating them all week haha!
If you are interested in making these, I definitely recommend you check out the recipe here.
(Also, I hope you all enjoy my wonderful reading material)
And to finish, a picture of Sephy helping herself to my breakfast of blackberries, strawberries and Greek yogurt. She seems to love it as much as I do.
